With a 17 year heritage, The Perfect Cosmetics was founded in 2004 by native Brit and long-term resident of Australia, Penny Lane.
Our Founder, Penny, admits that during her 20s she didn’t look after her skin properly and by the age of 30, like many of us, she was looking much older than she wanted to. So she began looking for a solution.
2004 was before the explosion of skincare bloggers and accessible information we’re fortunate to have at our fingertips today. Lots of products were endorsed by glossy airbrushed celebrities, presented in gorgeous packaging with an emphasis on style over substance. One thing Penny was clear about from the very start was that she wanted her skincare to be results driven. This sent her on a personal quest to research, develop and launch a skincare line that would deliver on its promises, backed by science but with accessible pricing.
